(For Deutsche + Espanol please scroll down) Reliquaries of Empires Dust is an exhibition exploring trends in art and artists response to the current global climate. Whether an exploration in environmental,geopolitical,monetary,cultural,societal shifts,or in paradigms of utopias lost and found,the exhibition is building as three nucleii of repositaries of pasts,present and future with an organic structure where artists contributions are building networks of capsules,vitrines and mounted displays of works in keeping with the exhibition ethos of Museum MAN within the gallery space of Bereznitsky Gallery Berlin. International artists and Berlin artists alike have been invited to work within the space of the Bereznitsky GalleryHeiderstrasse 73 Berlin Germany View Map The space is 500 sq metres in breadth,with an outdoor area for installation of a large loading bay terrace and 200 sq metre garden area in the heart of Berlin's gallery and museum area,opposite the new Berlin Hauptbanhoff (the largest station in Europe) and next door to the contempoarary art centre Hamburger Bahnoff. The gallery is open from 2pm 14.00hrs each day for artists to come work on site as this organic installation will continue to evolve up to and during the time of the Berlin Gallery weekend and till the exhibition's closing May 30 2009. Reliquaries of Empires Dust is a response to an accelerating age of information with palpable cause and effect, wherein lies an increasing speedway of news and heightened coverage of issues of crippling magnitude, wherein lay the collapse of global circuits, from wars, monetary, social and environmental mono-systems, multi-systems, ecosystems and the redefining of lines of geopolitics. All intrinsically linked, this has become a viral down turn-on the brink of collapse and reinvention. A penultimate new order coalescing like a clot during this, the system of a down, and a time of macro introspection and the need for reinvention of archaen networks now failed.The blurprint of the circus is over. DEUTSCHE Reliquienschreine vom Staub der Imperien Reliquienschreine vom Staub der Imperien - ist eine Antwort auf eine beschleunigte Zeit aus Informationen deren offensichtliche Ursachen und Wirkungen durch die Erhöhung der Geschwindigkeit des Nachrichtenflusses gefüttert werden. Sie ist geprägt durch Ereignisse von lähmenden Ausmaßen – in deren Zentrum der Zusammenbruch der globalen Kreisläufe von Währungs- und Sozialsystemen, des gesamten Umweltsystems, der Monosysteme, Multisysteme, Ökosysteme und der Handlungslinien der Geopolitik steht. Ihre unmittelbare Verbundenheit führt zu einem virulenten stetigen Kurz-vor-dem-Aus-Stehen und einer permanenten Neuinfizierung. Eine vorerst letzte Neuordnung entsteht, die sich während dessen zu einem Gerinnsel vereint hat, einem System-of-a-down, einer Zeit der Makro-Introspektion und des Bedürfnisses der Wiedererschaffung archaischer Netzwerke, die bisher gescheitert sind. Der Phönix ist in Bewegung. Durch die Eröffnung während des Gallery Weekends in Berlin vom 1. – 3. Mai 2009 erreicht die Ausstellung ein große kunstinteressierte Öffentlichkeit und Medienpräsenz gleichermaßen. Künstlerinnen und Künstler aus Berlin, London, New York, Australien und weltweit wurden aufgefordert, ihre Antworten zu dieser Thematik zu offenbaren, formal als Kapseln, die sich umhüllend oder ausgeschüttet innerhalb der Ausstellung des MAN-Museum befindet in der GALERIE BEREZNITSKY in Berlin unter der Schirmherrschaft und Einladung von Evgeni Bereznitsky. Opening 1. – 3. Mai 2009. Video-Screenings und Performances während des gesamten Wochenendes und weitere Veranstaltungen während der gesamten Dauer der Ausstellung unter Beteiligung der ausstellenden Künstler.
